“You don’t make a photograph just with a camera.
You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen,
the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.”
~ Ansel Adams
I have been blessed to have been raised
in a home that embraced and shared with me the love
of all such things that allow creativity that has no boundaries.
I treasure the opportunity to have found my direction on this
journey to explore and capture such beauty, not only through
the lens of my camera, but through my soul.
Teddy Roosevelt once said “The landscapes of today are not
ours to do with as we please. The original stock was given
to us in trust for the benefit both of the present and the future.
We must render an accounting of this trust to those who come
after us. This is my account.
Over the past several years, I have been blessed beyond measure with this craft. It has allowed me to travel and capture the beauty this country has to offer. I have had the amazing pleasure to work with the legendary Bob Seger on his album cover Ride Out as well as collaborate with the US Navy, work with countless hospitals and their Healing Arts program and published in National Geographic along with other book and CD covers. My artwork can be found in hotels and homes around the globe.
I am humbled every day by the opportunities that have been presented to me along this journey. My heart will forever be filled with gratitude.
